Topics of the day
Most fellows don’t aspire careers in the corporate world. Some even believe that human rights and business are necessarily opposed. However, there is no denying that money and politics are intrinsically linked, and ignoring the corporate world would therefore be short sighted. Corporate Social Responsibility is growing in popularity, and many companies make a real effort to include human rights in their strategy. To find out more about the meaning of human rights and business, we have invited several companies to talk about their efforts for promoting and strengthening corporate social responsibility. We will meet representatives from a consultancy firm, a communication company, a bank and a beer company to shed their light on corporate social responsibility.
