Topics of the day

Today, fellows will travel to the European capital of International Justice: Den Haag (The Hague). We will visit the ICTY, the criminal court prosecuting violations of humanitarian law in the former Yugoslavia, where we will most likely see Mladic on trial. After the ICTY, fellows will visit the heart of Dutch politics; the Dutch Parliament. In the parliament the group will meet and talk to politicians to hear how their own ambitions are crushed or cherished in our democratic system.
